Goodbye Paul de Jongh |
|
It is with deep sadness that we heard of the passing of Paul de Jongh. He was a gentle soul with a passionate conviction of what it was to be a studio potter. He was generous in sharing his knowledge and experience and always made time to assist anyone with an interest in ceramics. His wood-firing, raku and electric-fired work and his beautiful studio and home were a testament to the love and care he put into everything he did.
Our thoughts are with his family, Nina, Sarah-Lee, Joshua, and his Mom, Mother-in-law and siblings

 |
Rest peacefully William - we will miss you. |
|
Kiln Contracts lost a great colleague and friend on 23rd June 2017.
William succumbed to his cancer and closed his eyes peacefully at home with his family around him.
William was our boilermaker for more than 25 years at Kiln Contracts and many kilns and furnaces were built by him over the years.

A sad goodbye to Terry Reinders |
|
It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one our communities great leaders Mr Terry Reinders who passed away suddenly last week.
Terry has been a tower in our industry for 40 years and we are saddened that he has passed on.
Our thoughts go to his family and friends and to many of the potting community at this time.
